We believe that every child is naturally curious and want to gain knowledge and skills.
We believe that every child is naturally curious and want to gain knowledge and skills. We also believe that every child has the capability and capacity to learn when given the right environment that is supportive, structured, and adapted to what suits the child.
We started because too many children were left out – too far, too different, too poor. Now we reach over hundreds of learners in our physical and online platforms. Our teachers are trained to support children who may be slow learners for who we adjust to their pace. Learners can also access our services remotely. We believe no child is “too much work” to support with the rights tools, arrangements, and agreements.

History
British Montessori Courtyard School began in 2015 with a simple but urgent belief: every child deserves a quality education, no matter where they come from or what challenges they face. In the Niger Delta, we saw too many children being left out – too far from good schools, too different to fit in, too poor to afford the fees. We decided that had to change.
Starting with just a handful of students in a modest space, we set out to bring the transformative Montessori approach to our community. What began as a small act of hope has grown into a thriving school that now reaches hundreds of learners – both in our physical classrooms and through our online platforms. We have broken down barriers of distance, difference, and poverty, one child at a time.
Today, we are proud to be a home where young minds from all backgrounds come together to discover, learn, and grow. Our journey is far from over, but our mission remains the same: to ensure that no child in the Niger Delta is ever left behind again.

At British Montessori Courtyard, our vision is to be a world-class institution that combines academic rigor and excellence with high moral Values to produce the best human capital for Nigeria and the world.
